Zeldes Eye Center Welcomes Dr. Andy Dhaliwal

We are excited to welcome a new member to our team: Meet Dr. Andy Dhaliwal, M.D.

He grew up in Lansing. After he earned a bachelor’s with honors from Northwestern University, Dr. Dhaliwal completed his medical school and ophthalmology residency at the University of Michigan and a fellowship in Corneal Surgery and Refractive Surgery (AKA LASIK) at the University of Minnesota.  Dr. Dhaliwal is a cataract surgery specialist.

Dr. Dhaliwal missed his home state, so he returned to Michigan and has been in private practice for the last 20 years. Dr. Dhaliwal is also a leader, serving as the Chair of Ophthalmology at Providence Hospital and Providence Park Hospital. In addition to those hospitals, he is credentialed to work in numerous hospitals including St. Mary’s, Henry Ford West Bloomfield, St. Joseph and William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak.

He belongs to many professional societies including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, The Cornea Society, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
